East Sheen parking review

The East Sheen Controlled Parking Zone zone (CPZ, Zone ES1) came into operation on Monday 22 January 2024.

Since its operation we received petitions from East Sheen Avenue (between Park Avenue and Vicarage Road) and Richmond Park Road (between Upper Richmond Road West and Shrewsbury Avenue) requesting that they be re-consulted on joining the scheme.

Consultation

In October/November 2024 in response to the petitions, we consulted residents of the above two roads on the possibility of joining the zone.  

The consultations closed on Sunday 1 December 2024.

Due to insufficient support shown from the consultation, proposals to extend the zone will not be taken forward at this time.

Officers will review the extents of double yellow lines in the area and the provision of disabled parking bays outside All Saints Church to see if additional parking can be made available to the community where it is safe and practical to do so.
