Become a Volunteer

Do you have some spare time on your hands?

Would you like some experience to develop your career?n

We have a volunteering scheme at Ham Children’s Centre. Whether it be sessional support or being a part of the Parent Forum, we could always use an extra pair of hands.

If you are interested, please contact the centre on 020 8734 3400 or hamcc@richmond.gov.uk.

Have your say!

Would you like to have a say on what goes on at Ham Children’s Centre? Join our Parent Forum

The aim of the Parent Forum is to organise and enrich activities and events through feedback from families who attend the Children’s Centre. Our events are aimed at these families, but we also try to encourage families new to the centre who have children under five years old to attend. The Forum meets on a monthly basis at the Children’s Centre.

Events we have organised in the past have included:

  • Grab a Bargain - run on a monthly basis, families are able to donate clothes, toys and things they don’t use any more, and pick up some freebies of their own!
  • Mobile Farm - we organised the farm to come along for the morning, giving children the opportunity to learn about and stroke piglets, chicks, ponies and other farm animals.
  • Christmas events - for the third year running the Parent Forum organised the Centre’s Christmas events; the Christmas Grotto and the Christmas Pantomime.

If you are interested, please contact Rachel, our Children’s Centre manager, by email: hamcc@richmond.gov.uk.
