Joint Review inspection
The last full Social Services inspection took place between November 2002 and January 2003. This inspection, known as the Joint Review, was undertaken by the Audit Commission and the Social Services Inspectorate.

Home Care Service inspection
August 2005 Inspection of Home Care service by the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
This announced inspection took place on the 23rd August 2005. The report found that there was a clear staffing and management structure in place, there was good continuity of care for service users. Workers are appointed according to a robust recruitment procedure and that they are required to produce proof of identity prior to starting work. There is a demonstrable commitment to providing a consistent service to service users.
