Services for people who are blind or partially sighted
Rehabilitation Officers from the Sensory Services Team work with people over the age of 18 who have a permanent and substantial sight loss.
We offer general advice on coping with sight loss, can sign-post local and national organisations and provide an assessment of need. If we assess you as eligible, we can provide specialist equipment, training and support.
We also run a resource centre in partnership with Richmond Association for the Blind where anyone is welcome to come and view and purchase specialist equipment. The Resource Centre is open on Monday mornings; please contact us using the details below to make an appointment.

You can contact the Sensory Services Team between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Duty hours are Monday and Thursday morning between 9.30am and 12.30pm when we can guarantee someone will be available to take referrals and provide information and advice.
