Youth programmes at Orleans House Gallery

Through our innovative and award-winning arts programmes and projects, we target those excluded from mainstream social and educational opportunities.

Projects

The Arts Service creates opportunities for young people to experience the arts through a broad range of projects. Current projects include Get Set Go!, in which young people have been working with professional artists to experiment with the representation of sport using artistic media including filmmaking, animation, photography, sculpture, painting and dance. This year the Larkin About youth theatre project tours to Castelnau.

Qualifications

We deliver Bronze and Silver Arts Awards and the AQA Unit Awards Scheme. These options allow young people a more flexible way of learning based on individual interests. Qualifications can be delivered through a range of courses, after-school clubs and projects with schools, designed to help young people achieve their full creative potential.

Work-based learning

The gallery offers work-based learning and volunteer opportunities for all ages. We welcome applications for short-term placements, extended work experience and internships. Visit our work experience page for more information.
