Children’s facilities in local parks

We aim to make our parks as welcoming as possible for families and children, and we provide more than 30 playgrounds and four paddling pools. Playgrounds are fenced off to stop dogs entering these areas, making them safer and more enjoyable for all the family.

Playgrounds are visually inspected on a daily basis by our grounds maintenance contractor Service Team to ensure they are clean and tidy.

If you come across any problems, vandalism, graffiti, broken glass and debris within a Council playground, please report it with our Streetscene fault reporting form.

Skateboarding

The King’s Field skatepark is in Church Grove, Hampton Wick, near Kingston Bridge.  

The skatepark is open between 10am and 8pm every day during the summer, price £2.50 per session. During the winter, park closing times will be earlier.

Helmets must be worn at the skatepark, and protective pads are recommended.
