Fitness Suite membership

Shene Sport & Fitness Centres Fitness Suite has recently been upgraded to include a full compliment of state of the art cardiovascular and resistance machines.

Adding to the recent purchase of Concept 2 Rowers and Octane Cross trainers the remaining cardiovascular and resistant equipment has been replaced with CYBEX branded machines that are designed to make the exercises carried out on them as natural and effective as is possible.

A large selection of the new Cybex equipment is IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initiative) accredited meaning that it is suitable for members of all abilities or needs.

We also have revamped our free weights which now range from 2kg-30kg and have a multi-functional bench alongside.

Our highly qualified instructors and specialist instructors (Disability Programming and REPS accredited) are always at your service for any queries regarding training and health in general.

All membership options include an induction, unlimited usage, a tailor made exercise programme with follow up reviews and free or reduced rate fitness classes.

Membership options are available to suit individual’s needs ranging from monthly, pay as you go, students and concessions.

Fitness (Gym only)

At just £35 a month with a Direct Debit membership and a £30 joining fee, you can get fit without your bank balance losing any weight! Advantages of this include a free induction, free Leisure Card, free aerobic classes, free use of the other Fitness Centres and Yoga and Pilates courses for half the normal price.

Pay as you go

Just £5.50 with a Leisure Card or £6.20 Non Leisure Card per visit during peak times.

Off peak is even cheaper at £5.10 with a Leisure Card or £5.60 non Leisure Card. Concession £3.10 with a Leisure card off-peak only. Before you start an induction is necessary £22.00 with a Leisure Card, £24.50 non Leisure Card and £12.30 as a concession with a Leisure Card.

Student

Full time students - just show us your NUS card or a university equivalent and you'll be eligible for our £73 for 3 months fitness suite membership. (Full payment due at start of membership and includes a free induction). This allows unlimited usage of the fitness suite and aerobics classes.

Monthly

Monthly membership with no contract at £49 per month, includes free induction and aerobics classes.
