The things that most needed improving in your area:

  • 47% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 32% - Traffic and/or level of congestion
  • 22% - Condition of pavements
  • 22% - Provision of parking
  • 19% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour

St Margarets/East Twickenham

916 people who responded to the All in One survey were from St Margarets/East Twickenham.

Around 96% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 81% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 39% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 35% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 32% - Public transport
  • 20% - Education and schools

The things that most needed improving in your area:

  • 36% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 27% - Condition of pavements
  • 25% - Provision of parking
  • 21% - Affordability of local housing
  • 17% - Amount of litter and/or cleanliness of streets

Strawberry Hill

317 people who responded to the All in One survey were from Strawberry Hill.

Around 93% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 74% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 38% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 34% - Public Transport
  • 29% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 21% - Education and schools
  • 20% - Library services - 20%

The things that most needed improving in your area:

  • 33% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 32% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 28% - Condition of pavements
  • 23% - Provision of parking
  • 21% - Condition of roads

Your village planning event

Nearly 400 people attended the All in One area planning meeting for Twickenham, St Margarets/East Twickenham and Strawberry Hill on Saturday 12 June 2011 in the Civic Centre.

Residents were invited to review the results from Twickenham, St Margatets/East Twickenham and Strawberry Hill. They also had the chance to share ideas with local Councillors, officers and other local organisations such as the Police and local Business Association about what could be done together to address the issues.
