As part of the next phase of the Village Planning process, we are hosting a programme of Question Time events.

Question Time

Residents will be able to quiz the Leader and Cabinet Members about priorities for their local area and hear about future collaboration opportunities with the Council and other local organisations.

Each Question Time event will follow these timings:

  • 6 to 6.30pm: Meet your councillor informal reception
  • 6.30 to 6.40pm: Welcome and introduction
  • 6.40 to 7pm: Presentation from Members on ‘Your Village’ 
  • 7 to 7.45pm: Pre-submitted questions
  • 7.45 to 8.45pm: Open floor questions
  • 8.45pm: Event close

Submit your question in advance

To ensure that a spread of topics are discussed on the night, attendees can submit questions in advance. These will be covered in the first 45 minutes of the event. The second hour will be opened to the floor to allow questions on other topics. An independent chairperson will host each event.

 If you are unable to attend, each event will be streamed live on our Facebook page and you can tweet your questions during the event at @LBRUT on Twitter using #VillageQT.
