Pubs and clubs noise guidance

We have recently issued guidance to pubs and clubs on the control of noise. This is a guide for licensees,breweries, club owners, and club managers, to allow for the control of noise from pubs, clubs and other commercial premises.

We will also be acting as a Statutory Consultee under the Licensing Act 2003 as the enforcing authority for noise and health and safety legislation.

New licenses and variations to existing licenses should be sent to us for consultation prior to granting by the Licensing Authority. If we feel it is necessary we may make representations to the Licensing Authority before the License is issued.
