Old Deer Park Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

The Council has commenced the development of a Supplementary Planning Document for the Old Deer Park area with an informal consultation on some initial ideas taking place from 7 October until 4 November.

The SPD will guide future developments and environmental improvements to help ensure that they are sensitive to the historic attributes of the Park whilst supporting the important recreational, sporting, and community activities within the Park.

This is the second stage of consultation, the first having taken place in summer 2015 as part of the development of the Richmond and Richmond Hill Village Plan.

Draft Village Plan SPDs for Hampton and Hampton Hill

The Council is producing a suite of Village Plan SPDs, one for each Village Area in the borough. Each Village Plan SPD provides a vision for the area, identifying the local character and setting out key policies and design principles that will apply to both new development and changes to existing buildings. They will be used as material considerations in determining planning applications in each area.

We are now consulting on Draft Village Planning Guidance SPDs for Hampton and Hampton Hill from 9 September until 21 October 2016.
