Site rules

  1. Visitors to the site enter at their own risk, must assume responsibility for their own health and safety and should dress appropriately.
  2. CCTV and number plate recognition systems are in operation at the site may record details of your vehicle and the number of times you visit the site.
  3. Site users must follow any directions given by a member of staff at the site.
  4. Walking around the site is only permitted on the marked safe pedestrian walkways.
  5. Use of the site is at the sole discretion of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and where permitted, is restricted to residents and businesses who occupy premises within the West London Waste Authority area only.
  6. Proof of residence together with photo ID must be shown on request.
  7. Users from outside of the area or those who can not provide proof of residence may be admitted but will be charged full trade waste rates even if they are a resident.
  8. The council reserves the right to deny use of the facility and will do so where proof of residence is not shown or if waste that is presented as domestic is suspected as being chargeable trade waste. The site manager’s decision as to whether waste will be admitted at all or if it is waste for which a charge will be levied is final.
  9. All trade waste is chargeable unless otherwise noted.
  10. Only London Borough of Richmond upon Thames residents with their Council Tax Documentation and photo I.D will be able to tip using a van – residents are restricted to one van per year from the same address.
  11. Householders (with appropriate proof of identity and residence) may dispose of limited quantities of DIY waste free of charge. This is the equivalent of six 80 litre refuse sacks per month. This is at the discretion of the site manager and waste in greater quantities or not qualifying for free disposal will be charged at full trade waste prices.
