In May 2024, we consulted all properties in this area to seek feedback on whether a new controlled parking zone should be introduced.

Background

This review commenced following requests for parking controls from residents of the area. It is understood that some residents have faced difficulties in finding a parking space near to their home due to non-residents, including all day commuters and short and long stay parking, parking in the area. A Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) can alleviate these difficulties.

Consultation

The consultation began on Thursday 2 May 2024 and ended on Sunday 9 June 2024.

Results and decision

After consideration of the consultation results, the decision has been made to progress proposals for a new controlled parking zone in the area.

Following a review, the double yellow lines implemented in the Fulwell Park Estate area in 2023 are to be made permanent.
