If you are planning a road closure you will also need to consult businesses in the wider area that may be affected.
There is currently a charge of £67 for all street parties, with the exception of those held for the Royal Wedding on 19, 20, 26, 27 or 28 May 2018. There is no fee to hold a party on these dates.
The deadline for applications to hold a street party for the Royal Wedding is Monday 30 April 2018.
If you are formally closing your road, there must be very clear signs placed on display at the road closure points. Appropriate signs can be hired from most hire shops or from the Council at a charge of £15 per sign.
