  • 65p each for 30 minutes
  • £1.25 each for 1 hour
  • £2.50 each for 2 hours

To stay for periods longer than 2 hours up to the maximum stay time advertised, you must display up to 2 vouchers side by side as shown in the table below.

Time Type of voucher
Up to 30 mins 1 x 65p voucher
Up to 1 hour 1 x £1.25 voucher
Up to 2 hours 1 x £2.50 voucher
Up to 3 hours 1 x £2.50 voucher and 1 x 65p voucher
Up to 4 hours 2 x £2.50 vouchers

How to use

When you arrive at the voucher parking bay, you must check the parking sign to find out the maximum stay and tariff. Visitor parking spaces allow for a maximum of either 2 or 4 hours stay.

Follow these steps:

  1. Validate the voucher by scratch off the relevant day, month, date, hour and minutes (to the next five minutes).
  2. Fold the top edge of the voucher.
  3. Hang inside the window nearest the kerb.
  4. Close the window firmly with the front of the voucher facing outward so that the details can be seen clearly.
  5. Display 1 or 2 vouchers (identically marked).

Incorrect use

If you do not display a validated voucher correctly, you may be at risk of a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

It is an offence to:

  • fail to display a clearly scratched voucher or to scratch out more than five areas;
  • display further vouchers once your selected parking period has commenced;
  • park for longer than the maximum time limit or to overstay the period of time purchased;
  • indicate an incorrect time when the vehicle is first parked; and
  • return to the same parking space within one hour of leaving.
