Borough’s bookworms find their Muse for Cityread London 2018

Release Date: 01 May 2018

It’s May which means Cityread is back! Cityread London is an annual celebration of literature that brings reading to life for the whole capital.

The borough’s bookworms are encouraged to come together and open the page on this year’s Cityread London book ‘The Muse’ by bestselling author Jessie Burton.

Be transported from 1960s swinging London to 1930s Andalucía and back again as you delve into Jessie’s latest gripping novel.  And for those of us who are fortunate enough to have got a ticket, Jessie will be talking about ‘The Muse’ at the only public library hosted event right here in the borough at Richmond Information and Reference Library.

Ishbel Murray, Assistant Director for Environment and Community Services said:

“We are delighted to be hosting this event with Jessie Burton. Although the event is now sold out, I’m sure everyone who gets the opportunity to read ‘The Muse’ will be captivated by Jessie’s writing talent.

“I hope that by taking part this year’s Cityread London you discover the love of reading and continue to read more books whether that be in paperback, hardback or on your electronic devices.”
