Residents reminded BBQ’s are not permitted in parks ahead of bank holiday weekend

25 April 2022

Our Parks Team are reminding residents that BBQ’s are not permitted in any of our parks and open spaces.

As we look ahead to this weekend's bank holiday, we hope that residents will visit and enjoy one of our parks over the weekend.

As per Article 6 of the Council's Public Space Protection order (PSPO) all type of BBQ’s are not permitted in any of our parks and open spaces.

Residents are also reminded that if a bin is full to take your litter home with you and to not leave rubbish around bins. If a park bin is full, please use the QR code on the top of the bin or our website to report this directly to our cleansing team.

Read our Public Space Protection orders in full.
