Youth Zone launches into the mental health scene for young people

Youth Zone has opened its doors to support young people living, studying or working in the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston.
Operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 to 7pm, the service is located on the first floor of Ancient House (KT1 1JS), in Kingston's busy market place.Young people are invited to drop-in to chat about whatever is on their mind with a friendly team of support workers, take part in free classes and workshops like Mindfulness with Clay and Coping with Stress, and gain support for concerns ranging from low mood and anxiety to self-harm.Youth Zone, from Richmond Borough Mind and Mind in Kingston provides young people aged 12 to 25 with the opportunity to socialise, charge their phone or laptop, use free Wi-Fi and enjoy refreshments. It's a safe place to chat, chill and connect to support.
