Emergency road closure in Teddington

Kingston Road in Teddington (TW11) is now reopened.
Update Saturday 14 January: Kingston Road Teddington is now reopened to traffic and the sinkhole has been repaired. Some TfL bus diversions may still be in place as the work was completed earlier than expected. Please check online before you travel - we will update as soon as TfL confirm buses are running as usual.
Bus diversions
The diverted buses will serve all stops along their diverted routes, if hailed or the onboard bell is pressed. Please note, TfL bus stop signage and live timetables may not be up to date with diversion information.
Routes 281 and 285 towards Kingston are on diversion via Park Road, Sandy Lane, Park Road, Church Grove and Hampton Court Road due to damage to the carriageway at Kingston Road and will be unable to serve the stops from 'Marston Road' (P) to 'Fairfax Road' (E). Please allow extra time for your journey.
Routes 281 and 285 towards Teddington are on diversion via Hampton Court Road, Church Grove, Park Road, Sandy Lane and Park Road due to damage to the carriageway at Kingston Road. Buses will be unable to serve the stops from 'Lower Teddington Road' (A) to 'Elmfield Avenue' (D). Please allow extra time for your journey.
