Richmond Neighbourhood Policing Week to host catalytic converter event
23 January 2023
As part of the Richmond Neighbourhood Policing Week, we have arranged a catalytic converter and bike marking event to try to help combat the thefts that have been occurring across the Borough.
The event is free and will take place on Saturday 27 January 2023 between 10am and 1pm at Old Deer Car Park, Richmond.
Vehicles that we will be marking are:
- BMW (1&3 Series) Lexus
- Toyotas
- Hondas
We are currently only focusing on these models due to them being the most targeted or at risk. Please note we have a limited amount of marking kits.
The event will also include pedal cycle marking, crime prevention advice and Traffic Officers will be in attendance to answer any questions.
If you would like to attend this event, please contact alexander.giddings@met.police.uk.
You will need to provide your:
- Name and address
- VIN number (usually found on bottom of the windscreen)
- Vehicle Registration Number
- Contact number
Once we receive this information, we will send you a time slot (between 10am and 1pm) and reference number to bring along on the day.
