Walk the rivers with Friends of River Crane Environment

On Monday 23 January, the trustees of Friends of River Crane Environment (FORCE) are leading a winter walk from Kneller Gardens to Isleworth.

The meeting point will be at Kingfisher Bridge between Kneller Gardens and Mereway Nature Park, Twickenham.

The walk will be along the Duke of Northumberland River from where it branches from the River Crane to where it flows into the River Thames at Isleworth.

The winter walk will involve taking in the local sights, searching for wildlife along the riverbanks and a chance to discuss the history of the man-made river.

The event is free. Those wishing to attend should book a ticket. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Attendees should wear sturdy footwear and comfortable winter clothing for a social walk among nature.
