Take part in Carers Week 2023

Carers Week 2023 takes place from Monday 5 to Sunday 11 June, and there will be a variety of activities, workshops, and events to provide carers with information, support, and opportunities for respite.

This year's theme is ‘Recognising and supporting carers in the community’, and the aim is to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contributions they make to families and communities.

Throughout the week, there will be a range of social events including Tai Chi taster sessions, pottery classes and a supper club. The week will also include opportunities to learn more information; from workshops on understanding carer’s rights to carer’s open days.
