Peer support roles available at Richmond Borough Mind

Richmond Borough Mind are looking for people with experience of mental health issues or caring, as well as professional skills and knowledge, to fill five support roles.

Applicants should be passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery.

As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicants will have the skills to provide person-centred support, through one-to-one sessions and facilitating groups. You will have an awareness of the boundaries they work within when supporting vulnerable adults.

You should be enthusiastic and self-motivated and must be able to work on your own initiative.

This is a partnership project with South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG), locally led by Richmond Borough Mind. There are further peer support worker vacancies within Age UK, Richmond AID, and Crossroads Care requiring appropriate skills and experience. Partners will seek your permission to share your details if there are sufficient successful applications.
