Barn Elms Sports Trust to redevelop athletics track

This July, Barn Elms Sports Trust (BEST) will renovate the 26 year old athletics track at the Barn Elms Playing Fields.

The refurbishment will involve removing the old track, repairing the base and drainage, and installing a brand new Polytan surface. 

The work is expected to take 12 weeks and will include modernising the long jump pits, shot put circle, javelin runs and more. 

BEST have created a Crowdfunder to help support this vital work. Sport England will grant match up to £10,000.
