Don't be afraid of the Bard
3 November 2021
If you think that "Shakespeare" is difficult - that the language is old-fashioned or obscure and not for you then the Mary Wallace Theatre is eager to show you just how simple and rewarding he can be and to welcome you into Will's magic world.
Language old-fashioned? Well, consider - if you've ever been in a pickle, not slept a wink, waited with bated breath, expected fair play, reached a foregone conclusion, seen something in your mind's eye - well then, you've been speaking his language. All of these are his as well as many hundreds of others so you are already half way there.
Whether you have some experience of the bard or are a complete beginner, let us welcome you to Shakespeare Alive, an informal workshop afternoon at the Mary Wallace Theatre on Twickenham's riverside, designed to help you dispel your doubts.
The team hope to see you at the Mary Wallace Theatre, the Embankment, Twickenham, TW1 3DU on Saturday, 6 November from 2 to 3pm.
