Room for Work kick-starts stalled careers

2 September 2021

Room for Work Online is a prize-winning employability course* designed for skilled workers at all levels, including managers and professionals. If you're a mature person struggling to get back into work - or you know you're under-employed and want a better job - this is the programme for you.

The Room for Work course provides an active, participative learning experience through a series of presentations and workshops conducted by professionals with expertise in their respective fields. In our 12-week programme participants learn current job search techniques with an emphasis on networking, developing social media skills, improving CVs, and practising competency-based interviews.

There is a social benefit as well. Job search is a lonely activity. At Room for Work you will be with other jobseekers in a friendly and supportive environment.

Classes are free and held online on Mondays 10.30am to 1pm.

The next course starts 13 September and runs to 6 December. Register online at www.roomforwork.org

*Winner: Best Charity or Social Enterprise, Richmond Business Awards 2017
