Come along to our pop-up stall this Car Free Day and see how an eCargo bike can benefit you and your business
16 September 2021
Richmond Council is supporting Car Free Day and encouraging residents to leave your car at home on Wednesday 22 September. Walk, cycling, or scoot to school, work or the shops to help reduce local air pollution. Active travel has many benefits including improved physical and mental health, reducing harmful emissions and save you money.
Traffic is one of the major causes of air pollution. Reducing emissions from road transport is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve local air quality.
As part of Car Free Day on Wednesday 22 September, Richmond Council will be setting up a pop-up eCargo stand outside the public entrance to the Civic Centre in Twickenham on Church Street. Businesses and residents are encouraged to visit the stall to try out an eCargo bike for themselves and see the many benefits to your business of investing in an eCargo bike.
There will be a number of eCargo bikes on display for residents and businesses to view, with officers on hand to answer your questions about the bikes, active travel benefits, air pollution and business grants for cargo bikes.
ECargo bikes can provide your business with a low cost and low emissions solution to help your business deliver goods to customers quickly and easily. The pop-up stall will be outside the Civic Centre from 12.30 to 4.30 pm on Wednesday 22 September.
