CarePlace is a directory of local services that meet a wide variety of care and community needs for adults living in Richmond upon Thames.

About the CarePlace directory

The directory contains a range of services that support people to stay independent, including: home care agencies, health and fitness clubs, charities, advice services and lots of other groups and activities that support people in the local area. It also contains information about housing choices such as supported living and care homes.

CarePlace can also provide information on individual health conditions, answers to common health questions and lifestyle advice from NHS Choices.

How to use CarePlace

As a resident, you can:

  • Search for services or information by typing your search term into the orange search box
  • Results are listed by 'distance' or 'relevance' and are divided into 'services' and 'information'

There is an advanced search tool to narrow results even further. If you need help with the search function, a short video is available on the Affinityworks website.

As a provider of services in Richmond, you can:

  • Search for other services that would be suitable for people you support, enabling you to signpost people to other services that would support them to stay independent
  • List your service(s) for residents and other professionals to find and signpost people to

Registering your service on CarePlace

If you are a service provider, charity or support organisation operating in Richmond, you can add your profile to CarePlace free of charge. The CarePlace Service FAQs explain the benefits of being on CarePlace, and how to create and maximise the effectiveness of your listing.
