Disabled Persons' Parking Bay
If you hold a Blue Badge you can apply for a Disabled Persons' Parking Bay to be marked outside of your home.
How to apply
All applicants must have a valid Blue Badge.
To apply you must complete our Disabled Persons' Parking Bay Application Form(pdf, 50KB) and return to us by:
- Email: trafficandengineering@richmond.gov.uk
- Post: Traffic and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ.
What happens next
If your application is successful it will usually take around five months before the bay is installed. This is due to the legal processes involved.
Once installed the bay is not the property of the applicant, or for their exclusive use. It can be used by other Blue Badge holders.
Removing a Disabled Persons' Parking Bay
If a Disabled Persons' Parking Bay is no longer needed then it is important that the space is made available for other vehicles.
