Due to staff absence related to COVID-19, we have had to suspend garden waste collections. This has been necessary to ensure refuse collection is unaffected. Please do not put your garden waste or Christmas tree out for collection until we can arrange for recovery.
Use this online form to subscribe to our fortnightly garden recycling bin collection service or to renew your existing contract.
Please note that for this year, there will be a discount for existing garden waste customers with a blue sticker who choose to renew their contract. This discount has been applied due to the suspension of the service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All contracts ending on 31 October 2020 will not receive collections from 1 December 2020 unless they have purchased the new pink sticker.

You must have one of our council bins (green wheelie bin with blue lid) to join this scheme. You can buy a bin using this form, if you don’t already have one.
This year, the 12 month garden waste contract period will begin on 1 November 2020 and run until 31 October 2021.
Your contract will run from 1 November 2020 to 31 October 2021. You will receive a proof of contract sticker within 10 working days, this should be placed on your garden waste bin. Even though your contract does not commence until 1 November, you can begin using the service as soon as you have your sticker and bin.
You must purchase a Richmond garden waste bin, if you do not already have one.
This process requires an online payment.
You will receive your new bin and sticker, within 10 working days. The sticker shows the collection crews that you are eligible for this service. If you do not have a sticker on your bin, contact email@example.com or call 020 8891 1411.
Once your garden waste collection payment is successful, we will send you a garden waste recycling sticker. Please follow the instructions and attach it to the side of your green garden waste bin. This lets our collection crews know that you are eligible for this service.
The crews will not collect from bins with out of date or missing collection stickers.
Refunds are not offered for early cancellation of your contract.
If you change your mind a refund will be considered within three working days of purchasing collections.
