Would you like to continue to receive these updates?
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in March it was agreed that Local Authorities could use email addresses collated as part of the Electoral Register to communicate local messaging and health information to local people.
Our Council e-newsletter was therefore sent to you, initially daily and now once a week. The newsletter contains information about how the Council and community has been responding to the Pandemic, information about available support, events, consultations and other activities.
As over 50% of content in the newsletter is now not related to COVID-19, as promised - inline with GDPR rules - we will shortly stop automatically sending you theses updates.
However, if you would like to continue receiving the updates, we would like to invite you to opt in. Opting in will ensure that you will receive information about:
- Local Council news - about redevelopments/achievements or activities
- Local events
- Opportunities to have your say
- Community information
You can see previous editions of the newsletter here.
We will only contact you with urgent information regarding coronavirus in the borough.
How to opt in?
It is easy to opt in – you need to complete the online form.
