The Mayor's charities for 2024/2025 are Richmond Borough Mind and Home-Start RKH.

Events

The Mayor regularly holds events to raise funds for his chosen charities.

Mayor's Friendship Concert

• Date: Sunday 27 April 2025
• Time: 5.30pm to 7.15pm
• Location: St Mary’s Church, Twickenham, TW1 3DT
• Price: £20 for adults, free entry for those aged 18 and under

The Richmond in Europe Association is hosting a concert with musicians of the Royal Academy of Music.

The international ensemble of Regina Gössel, Milette Gillow, Clara Orif and Elinor Popham, accompanied by pianist Jack Redman, will perform songs and arias sung in French, German and English, on a theme of friendship and specifically the sense of belonging and connection that music can provide.

Refreshments will be served during the interval.

Summer Jazz Garden Party 

Join the Mayor for a Summer Jazz Garden Party in the beautiful gardens of Trumpeters house, Richmond.

Music from The Perrin Jazz Collective.

• Date: Saturday 3 May 2025
• Time: 3pm to 5pm
• Location: Trumpeters House, Richmond
• Price: £30, this includes sandwiches, cakes and drinks

Make a donation

As well as attending a charity event, you can also donate to the Mayor’s charities by:

• Visiting the Mayor's Office in York House to make a donation in person
• Posting a cheque to the Mayor’s Office, made payable to ‘Mayor’s Appeal Fund’
