The Mayor's charities for 2020/2021 are:


The Cultural Reforesting Family Tour at Orleans Gallery

Join the Mayor for The Cultural Reforesting Family Tour which is an opportunity for families to explore the Orleans House grounds through a series of encounters with inhabitants past and present. Walking through the grounds we encounter ancient trees, flowers, bats, moles, squirrels, even an antelope. 

Donations welcome, all will go to the Mayor's chosen charities.

Afternoon Tea at Kew Gardens

Join the Mayor for a lovely afternoon tea party in the beautiful Nash Conservatory at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. Ticket includes entry to Kew Gardens and a delicious afternoon tea. All funds raised will go to the Mayor's charities.

Runfest AIR:RUN 10K

The Mayor will be taking part in Runfest AIR:RUN 10K (Inside Kew Gardens) on Saturday 11 September 2021.

If you would like to run on behalf of the Mayor's charities we have free places, please email to register.

Mayor's Fish and Chips Cruise

Join the Mayor for a scenic cruise aboard the Southern Belle along the Thames. Tickets includes a fish and chip supper and a complimentary drink on arrival. The cruise will board at St Helena Pier, Richmond at 6pm, depart at 6.30pm and return at approximately 9.45pm.

Mayor's Spooky and Firework Themed Quiz

Take part in the Mayor's Spooky and Firework Themed Charity Quiz in aid of the Mayor's charities, Dose of Nature and Habitats & Heritage. Teams of 6 to 10. Buffet supper served at each table. Cash bar and raffle.

Make a donation

As well as attending a charity event, you can also donate to the Mayor’s charities by:

  • Visiting the Mayor's Office in York House to make a donation in person
  • Posting a cheque to the Mayor’s Office, made payable to ‘The Mayor’s Charities’
