The Mayor's charities for 2024/2025 are Richmond Borough Mind and Home-Start RKH.

Events

The Mayor regularly holds events to raise funds for his chosen charities.

Mayor's World Themed Quiz

• Date: Friday 28 March 2025
• Time: Doors open at 7pm, quiz starts at 7.30pm
• Location: Clarendon Hall, York House
• Price: £25 (includes a complementary drink)

Join us in a team of up to eight people for the Mayor's World Themed Charity Quiz. Food will be supplied by Homemade Curries, and we will also have a cash bar and raffle. Tickets are £25 which includes a complementary drink from the bar.

Mayor's Quiz Raffle

• Date: Friday 28 March 2025
• Time: 7pm
• Location: York House
• Price: £5 for 5 raffle tickets

The prises include restaurant vouchers, bottles of Champagne and wine, perfume sets, and more.

Mayor's Friendship Concert

• Date: Sunday 27 April 2025
• Time: 5.30pm to 7.15pm
• Location: St Mary’s Church, Twickenham, TW1 3DT
• Price: £20 for adults, free entry for those aged 18 and under

The Richmond in Europe Association is hosting a concert with musicians of the Royal Academy of Music.

The international ensemble of Regina Gössel, Milette Gillow, Clara Orif and Elinor Popham, accompanied by pianist Jack Redman, will perform songs and arias sung in French, German and English, on a theme of friendship and specifically the sense of belonging and connection that music can provide.

Refreshments will be served during the interval.

Make a donation

As well as attending a charity event, you can also donate to the Mayor’s charities by:

• Visiting the Mayor's Office in York House to make a donation in person
• Posting a cheque to the Mayor’s Office, made payable to ‘Mayor’s Appeal Fund’

Thank you. Any donation is gratefully received and will be passed directly to the Mayor’s charities at the end of each municipal year.
