The Mayor regularly runs competitions for residents to enter.

The following competitions are currently open.
Mayor and leaders Christmas card competition 2024
This creative Christmas competition returns for another year.
The winner will have their design made into a real card and the Mayor and leader will send these out.
The winner will also be invited to have tea with the Mayor and leader in the parlour along with the runners up - usually two or three runners up will be chosen.
Entry rules
These entry rules apply:
- The competition is open to primary school children aged 5 to 11years
- We can only accept entries from children if they either live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames or go to school in the borough
- Entries should be A5 in size - you can just fold an A4 sheet in half
- It must be your own original image
- Please use colours
Closing date
Closing date for entries is 5pm on Monday 18 November 2024.

You can email your entries to mayors.office@richmond.gov.uk.

Remember to write the name of the child, their age and their school or address on the back of their entry. This will allow us to notify children who submit a winning entry.
Unfortunately, entries cannot be returned due to the volume we receive.
