Election dates are subject to change, and a by-election could be called at any time. Election dates can be moved by Act of Parliament or by order of the Secretary of State.
Election dates
The following elections are scheduled to take place in the next four years:
- Thursday 7 May 2026 - Council elections
- Thursday 4 May 2028 - GLA elections
