Habitats & Heritage litter pick for The Big Help Out

On Monday 8 May, Habitats & Heritage will be holding community litter picks across five parts of the borough as part of The Big Help Out.

To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation, thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help in our local communities. 

The day will be a great way to help ensure our green spaces are litter free so that nature can thrive. The project received a grant from the Civic Pride Fund, for its priorities to improve public spaces.

Bin bags and some pickers will be provided, and volunteers will receive a full safety briefing. All ages are welcome to attend, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
