Local charity gears up for The Big Help Out

Community news on behalf of Kew Neighbourhood Association | 2 May 2023

Kew Neighbourhood Association (KNA) is asking the community to join in by spreading the word about the neighbourly help KNA’s volunteers provide.

The charity has set up a collection point for local people to pick up copies of their leaflet which then can be shared with a neighbour, posted through nearby letterboxes, or even displayed at a street party.

The collection point is based at the Kew Branch of The Good Wine Shop, 2 Royal Parade, Richmond TW9 3QD between Tuesday 25 April and Monday 8 May.

With the shops long opening hours across the bank holiday weekend, there is plenty of chance for people who may not usually have the time to be involved to go along and collect what they need to join in!

To launch the Big Help Out Activity, KNA will be holding a celebration drop in morning at The Good Wine Shop on Thursday 4 May 10am to 12 noon where you can meet some of the team and ask any questions. Or you can email mail@kna.org.uk or call 020 8948 8054.

You do not need to register to take part in KNA’s Big Help Out activity, however it is listed on The Big Help Out website along with a range of other volunteer opportunities in all parts of the UK.
