Explore what’s on to celebrate Twinning Reaffirmation Weekend

10 April 2025

Discover the festivities and be part of the fun as we mark 65 years of our European partnerships with Konstanz in Germany and Fontainebleau in France.

To honour the 65th anniversary of our international partnerships, local societies, organisations, clubs and networks have partnered with peers in our twinned towns to organise over 50 borough-wide activities.

While most of the celebration will take place over the Twinning Reaffirmation Weekend from 6 to 8 June, some activities kick off from this week, with more events to continue later on in the summer through to the end of July.

We’d like to thank all the community groups and organisations who have come up with such fantastic events. Your efforts make these celebrations truly special!
