Donate to a London Marathon challenge supporting Crossroads Care

Community news on behalf of Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston | 10 April 2025

In less than three weeks, Grace Ramsay will be taking on the London Marathon in support of Crossroads Care.

Grace was inspired to raise money for Crossroads Care because her mum, Teddington resident Debbie, is one of Crossroads' trustees.

‘I’m taking on the London Marathon for the second consecutive year, this time for Crossroads Care - a fantastic charity that provides much-needed support for unpaid carers in the Richmond and Kingston area,’ said Grace.

‘Being an unpaid carer can be an exhausting and isolating task, and Crossroads provides invaluable, professional support and respite to those that really need it.’

The charity is incredibly grateful to Grace who is training hard for the 26.2-mile race to raise funds for unpaid carers. With over 10.6 million unpaid carers across the UK and 2 in 3 people expected to become carers by 2031, Crossroads’ services, which support those most at-risk and vulnerable, have never been more in demand.

Since 1987, Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston upon Thames has provided high-quality home and community respite care services. It supports carers and those they care for of all ages and disabilities, including debilitating conditions from dementia to profound disability.
