Room for Work offers free career support in Richmond and Hampton

This spring, residents over 40 are invited to join free career development courses designed to open new doors and opportunities.

Whether you're looking to re-enter the workplace or seeking a career change, local charity Room for Work offers free support. They are dedicated to helping skilled workers with previous work experience, including parents returning to the workplace and new arrivals to Britain seeking their first UK job.

Delivered in a friendly environment, the course will cover employability skills with an emphasis on networking, improving CVs, and practising competency-based interviews. It will also feature tailored, one-to-one mentoring and follow-up coaching support provided by experts.

Richmond course details:

  • Date: 29 April to 15 July 2025 (every Tuesday)
  • Time: 10am to 12.30pm
  • Location: Duke Street, TW9 1DH

Hampton course details:

  • Date: 7 May to 19 June 2025 (every Wednesday and Thursday)
  • Time: 10.30am to 1pm
  • Location: All Saints Church Hall, The Avenue, Hampton, TW12 3RG
