Explore how to get more involved in your community

Community news on behalf of Richmond CVS | 25 April 2025

On Wednesday 21 May, the annual Richmond Volunteer Fair will be taking place at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College.

This free-to-join event offers the chance to informally meet a fantastic range of local organisations and learn about their work, their services, their volunteer roles, and how you can get involved in supporting them.

With over 50 local groups under one roof, book now to get a taste of some of the incredible charities on your doorstep who could be looking for just the time and skills you can give. To name a few, the range of groups you can typically meet include those working in health and wellbeing, nature, environment, arts, heritage, children and young people, neighbourhood and community, advice, and specialist support.

It’s free to attend but advance booking is requested. For volunteering ideas and information, and to be inspired by an amazing community that you could be part of, get a ticket and get involved.
