Come along to a free film on the climate and nature crisis

Community news on behalf of Richmond Climate Coalition | 30 April 2026

On Thursday 18 June, join Richmond Climate Coalition for a free community screening of an eye-opening film that reveals how climate change is already affecting life across the UK.

The free event will feature a screening of People’s Emergency Briefing, a new film led by naturalist Chris Packham.

Featuring evidence from leading scientists and experts, the film shows how a destabilised climate threatens our economy, health and security, and will push up food and energy prices. It also offers credible and positive ways to respond to climate change.

The National Emergency Briefing is a non-partisan project aimed at informing the general public on the latest situation related to climate change. It has support from a wide range of organisations, including the Royal Meteorological Society, Church of England, WWF and National Trust.

Stay for a guided discussion. Tickets are free, but places are limited. Book early!
