Peace of Mind Day - free later life planning for older people with Age UK

Community news on behalf of Age UK Richmond | 16 April 2026

On Tuesday 5 May, Age UK Richmond is holding a Peace of Mind Day at the Twickenham Wellbeing Centre.

Let’s make it easier to talk about hard things. This free event will help you to think about and plan for the future - giving peace of mind to you and those around you. Speakers will give presentations on a range of topics, with time to ask questions afterwards.

The topics are:

  • Advice on funerals – Poppy’s Funerals
  • Downsizing your home - One Stop Organisers
  • Wills & Probate - Parsonage & Co family solicitors
  • Navigating the care maze – Eldercare Consultant
  • How hospice can help – Princess Alice Hospice

As well as the talks, there will be other charities and organisations on site on the day, providing further free advice and literature.

The Peace of Mind day is free of charge but booking is essential. Please book the talk (or talks) you wish to hear, ideally online over the Yapsody ticketing platform. Alternatively please email wellbeing@ageukrichmond.org.uk.
