Celebrate St George's Day in Whitton this weekend
Community news on behalf of Love Whitton | 22 April 2026
Whitton High Street will again be hosting the annual St George's Parade and Family Fun Day this Sunday (26 April) from 12 to 6pm.
The parade and fun day has been organised by Love Whitton and a small team of local volunteers for over 20 years.
The high street will be closed to traffic and will be bursting with activity. Expect food and drink from around the world, independent market traders, local charity stalls and fun fair rides!
The Midday Parade opens the event with a parade full of bands, schools, mascots, stilt walkers, sports clubs and associations, followed by classic cars, Harley Davidsons and Lambrettas.
Throughout the day you'll also be entertained, with live music and performances across three stages.
See what's on each stage on the Visit Richmond website.
Also available will be a bar, tombola, and bottle and voucher tombola outside Sainsbury's. All funds made at these stalls go towards running the high street events and run by volunteers.
All the local shops, cafes and restaurant's will be open as usual to welcome you as well, creating a family fun day for all, bringing business and community together.
