Residents invited to remember Amelie Delagrange

7 August 2024

On Sunday 18 August, a public memorial event to remember Amelie Delagrange will be taking place on Twickenham Green.

This commemoration marks the 20th anniversary of Amelie’s tragic passing and provides an opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance and solidarity. The memorial will last for an hour, with speeches, laying of flowers and a choir performance.

Memorial details:

  • Date: Sunday 18 August 2024
  • Time: 3pm
  • Location: Amelie’s Bench, Twickenham Green, TW2 5AQ

Following the memorial at 4.15pm, we encourage everyone to participate in a bystander training session aimed at equipping residents with the skills to intervene safely and effectively in situations of harassment and violence.

This training is part of our ongoing efforts to combat violence against women and girls in our borough.
