Students congratulated on A level results

15 August 2024

We proudly recognise the achievements of sixth form students in the borough as they receive their A level results.

This year’s A level results demonstrate the strong academic performance of students in Richmond upon Thames, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

Councillor Penny Frost, Chair of the Education and Children’s Services Committee, said: “Congratulations to all our A level students on their outstanding achievements. The high level of results reflects not only the students' hard work but also the commitment of our educators and the support of families. I wish all students the very best as they move forward to the next exciting phase of their lives, whether that be in higher education, apprenticeships or other opportunities.

“I understand that some may feel disappointed if the results were not what they expected. However, it’s important to remember that there are many paths to success, and we are here to support you as you move forward."

For students who did not receive the grades they hoped for, we offer support through Achieving for Children via the Summer Support helpline where you can talk to a qualified careers adviser on 07540 156905 or 07864 612857.

Careers advisers are available to discuss options, including university, employment, apprenticeships, or further training through Work Match Richmond and the Way2Work service. Students can also access Kooth for mental health support and for local job and training opportunities.
