Behind the Baubles: The Real Story of Father Christmas

On Wednesday 11 December, Beyond the Palette is presenting a special Christmas show at The Exchange in aid of local charity Richmond Borough Mind.

The show will delve into the real life of St Nicholas, a.k.a. Father Christmas, as depicted by a host of Renaissance artists. Important questions such as ‘Why do we get oranges in our stockings?’ and ‘Why is Dali’s Christmas angel exploding?’ will be asked and answered! 

Performed by Lynne Hanley, founder of Beyond the Palette, the light-hearted talk is a fast-moving, fact-filled journey of seasonal discovery, making it an ideal event to get you into the holiday spirit.
