Fostering is everything

Community news on behalf of Achieving for Children | 11 December 2024

Are you interested in becoming a foster carer? A growing partnership of councils and children’s trusts have produced a film about local authority fostering.

Fostering can mean everything to those involved. If you could provide a loving and caring environment for a child, fostering could be for you. Watch the ‘Everything’ film and see how you can change lives for our young people in care.

The emotionally powerful ‘Everything’ project highlights the long-term impact of fostering, showcasing how relationships between carers and children can last well into adulthood. It demonstrates how rewarding and life-changing fostering can be.

To begin your fostering journey, email the team on info@lafosteringse.org.uk or call 0300 131 2797.

Fostering is a way of providing a short-term home for a child until a permanent solution is found, although the duration of foster care is not always known. Achieving for Children is committed to giving vulnerable children and young people for the best chance to thrive, which for the vast majority of them is with local fostering families.

Find out why you should consider fostering.
