Discover the influence of women through arts and culture
5 March 2025
This March, join us to celebrate Women's History Month and International Women's Day. Dive into local arts, culture, and activities that highlight the contributions of women.
Every March, Women's History Month raises awareness of the contributions women have made throughout history and society.
Taking place on 8 March, International Women’s Day 2025 theme is ‘Accelerate Action’. It is a key opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of women while raising awareness about discrimination and gender inequality.
We've put together a collection of exciting events happening around the borough celebrating the achievements of women.
Online workshop
All are invited to join our free session about celebrating and boosting our efforts to get more women and girls in Richmond volunteering and involved in sports.
In 2024/25, we set up women and girls' groups in the borough to support all females in being active and moving more. These groups have come together and are developing some amazing plans to create more opportunities for being active and participating in sports, volunteering, coaching, and sports-related careers.
Come along and hear about their plans and progress. It's also a great chance to chat, collaborate, and get involved if you haven't been part of our journey yet.
- Date: Monday 10 March 2025
- Time: 12 to 2pm
- Tickets: Book online
