More ways to get moving

Whether it’s a walk in our beautiful parks, yoga at a community centre, or a fun fitness class, we’ve got activities to help you build lasting habits.

Our community centres offer low-cost ways to get moving. Find your local community centre and discover great, low-cost ways to move more:

You can also join the Allegr Foundation's Walk+Talk sessions in Barnes, Whitton and Richmond. Enjoy a weekly walk with great company and conversation.

What’s more, we’re rolling out a new Richmond Moves strategy to make sports and physical activity a natural part of daily life for everyone. With fairer pricing and sustainable facilities, our leisure centres are making it easier for you to stay active.

NHS Health Check

Taking care of your health is one of the best resolutions you can make this year. If you’re 40 or over, ensure your health and wellbeing are on the right track by booking a quick and free NHS Health Check at a local GP or pharmacy.

These checks are a vital and completely free service designed for people aged 40 to 74, to spot early signs of common heart related health problems like heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, dementia and kidney disease.

You can find out more about NHS Health Checks.
