Discover nature with Eco-Explorers

Community news on behalf of Barnes Common | 29 January 2025

If you're between 10 and 14 years old, join the Eco-Explorers, learn about the wildlife all around us and take steps to protect it!

This year, local charity Barnes Common is expanding its Eco-Explorers programme to encourage 10 to 14 year olds to take part in nature-related activities throughout the year, not just on a one-off basis. The programme will also offer participants the chance to meet other young people who are similarly interested in the environment.

You can now kick off your Eco-Explorers journey by registering for a bird box building workshop. The full programme is packed with adventures, including a bat walk, a tree trail and a week-long summer camp, which will open for registration in the upcoming months. Find out more about Eco-Explorers.
